Spring cleaning: I'm selling off my perfumes!

Slowing down on my rent jobs to write the book is turning out to be a little tricky. I need to hold out until the manuscript is done, a few more weeks tightening my belt, but the landlord’s isn’t going on a diet.
So I’m resorting to the quickest method of raising funds: selling off part of my perfume collection. Among the goodies, a pre-reformulation Acqua di Parma Profumo, a pre-reformulation Nahema parfum, large decants of several Chanel Exclusives, Bandit Parfum, Barbara Bui Le Parfum… About 40 items in all.

To get the list and prices, you can contact me at graindemusc at gmail dot com.

I will be taking orders as of Thursday February 10, at 3 P.M. Paris time. No orders will be accepted beforehand.

Please note though that shipping parcels outside the EU has become much costlier and that I will only send full bottles in pre-paid boxes with registered delivery to give them the best possible chance of making it to destination. Shipping rates and conditions will be included with the list.

P.S. If I sent you the list before 2 PM Paris time today you'll have noticed I put in Feb. 11 as the date of the sale. This is a consequence of insomnia. The sale starts on Thursday 10 as stated above. Sorry!

Added on Feb.10 at 8.30 PM: My stock has been plundered, so the sale stops now.
Thank you all for your support, especially for the kind words so many of you wrote to me. I'm sorry I haven't been able to answer everyone individually, but I am grateful and truly touched.

  1. Denyse, what do you find is the best way to ship perfumes from the EU to the States, I'm having a little trouble now with that issue...and realizing that my collection could use a cull as well!

  2. Marla, short answer: ship. It's against regulations to airmail them unless you've got special export authorization. For small quantities you can try to go round this, but a collection... Impossible.
