Here's an opportunity to shop for a great cause: the BeautyBloggers.org annual charity auction. For the second year in a row, beauty bloggers and brands – now including perfume bloggers-- have joined forces for an online auction benefitting Doctors Without Borders.
Participants have donated a treasure trove of the best lotions, potions, products, and gadgets. Donated items range from the hottest items from this year’s holiday collections to hard-to-find exclusives and limited edition cult favorites. When the auction ends, winning bidders make their donations directly to Doctors Without Borders, through the site’s secure giving page
The auction will be live Monday, November 28th through Monday, December 12th.
When you register with the site, your first name, last name, and email address are private. You should use an email address you check regularly, because that's how we get in touch with the winning bidders. Email addresses will not be used for any other purpose.

My contribution: Four 35 g. travel candles by Parfum d’Empire
The cult niche perfume brand Parfum d’Empire is one of the few to be helmed by a perfumer, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, and it shows. Each of his compositions is an intensely emotional journey, based on stellar natural materials.
This lot is a set of four mini-candles from his brand-new line: they are not commercially available since the limited edition was solely produced for the launch party.
They are incredibly fragrant even when you don’t light them, and when you do, their scent can fill a large room (I’ve even known it to filter into the garden).
AMBRE ABSOLU, an animalic amber scent
Moroccan cistus absolute blends its deep resinous facets with the essences of Atlas cedar wood and raw Indian patchouli. Smooth blonde vanilla from Madagascar melds with the vibrant notes of clove, cumin and Ceylonese cinnamon. Somali incense absolute adds a meditative touch.
TUBÉREUSE CORSE, narcotic and honeyed
Zesty fresh orange lends sparkle to the green, fruity facets of the diva of flowers. Honeyed Moroccan orange blossom enhances its floral heart. Amber warms up its heady scent, while musk adds a delicately powdered touch.
LYS CASABLANCA, spellbinding and opulent
Set between the delicacy of its green notes and the arrogance of its animalic accords, the heart of the lily releases a suave, spicy, tropical scent… Jasmine and ylang-ylang lend their richness to this evocation of the noblest, headiest of all lilies, the Casablanca.
LANTANA CAMARA, sparkling and tart
This vividly-coloured Southern flower gives off a surprising fragrance, green and fruity, sparkling and tart. LANTANA CAMARA brings out its playful orange, lime and grapefruit facets, with sap notes and gourmand fig and quince effects.
