But I also agree I wouldn't have liked to work for that type of boss... The thing I kept returning to most often was not Lauder's behavior (though that did make me cringe a bit). It was her *skin's* behavior...she was a scent absorber!!! We've read certain people complain about this on the blogs for a while now...if only they knew they had such, erm, "illustrious" company!!!

I do by nature try to double reflect when someone complains about a woman's aggressive behavior--an assertive confident eccentric becomes a b*tch sometimes only depending on gender...and those same driving traits are probably what helped her succeed, too...but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy working with her, if my job were on the creative team.ScentScelfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12264276265890227820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4922907157797061660.post-54078808374085377192009-08-04T13:11:24.447+02:002009-08-04T13:11:24.447+02:00Octavian, so now we know why all the old Lauders s...Octavian, so now we know why all the old Lauders share that super-charged feel... I doubt that this diva attitude would work today when many perfumers keep on working on low quality creations.
Keora is also a perfume from Jean Couturier. :)
I liked the end of the report - "I like it when I say I like it, it means it's good"Octavian Coifanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18342689176413052674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4922907157797061660.post-27735796174737870202009-08-04T12:55:00.678+02:002009-08-04T12:55:00.678+02:00Hi, Denyse! One encounters it sometimes in South Asian or Southeast Asian desserts (pandanus or screwpine essence). It does give that very interesting "green metallic" impression. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4922907157797061660.post-32710003306639830972009-08-04T10:35:38.614+02:002009-08-04T10:35:38.614+02:00Joe, I guess I'd have been cross too.
