Long ago, in faraway Austin, Texas, a tiny herbal shop had a proprietary perfume called Demeter, which was based on locally grown rose geraniums. It was a wonderful cologne, and I've been looking for something like it ever since (the shop has been gone for years). I will have to give PdN's a try, I can't imagine another perfumer doing a better job with lovely geraniums!
-MarlaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4922907157797061660.post-2493711847127256962011-09-15T13:45:42.669+02:002011-09-15T13:45:42.669+02:00This sounds as refreshing as PdN herself! I also enjoyed the way she highlighted lavender's minty/sweet side in Nicolai pour Homme.

Any idea what is the significance of the odd capitalization of cHic?

I have noticed that Lanvin's discontinued geranium fragrance gets snapped up quickly whenever an older bottle makes a rare appearance on ebay. I never managed to snag one during the year that I was trying to acquire all their classics.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
